Jordan Hamamoto is entering his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Chargers men's basketball program. Coach Hamamoto’s primary focus is the men’s basketball strength and conditioning program.
Hamamoto was a league MVP and All-CIF selection as a member of the Western High School basketball team. He played Division II basketball at Lake Superior State and NAIA basketball at Northwestern College. Hamamoto also played one season at Irvine Valley College for Cypress Head Coach Andrew Alhadeff.
After finishing his playing career, Hamamoto turned to the coaching side of the game, working with Ironmen Basketball Clinics and providing personal skills training. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from the University of La Verne in 2016 and earned his Master's Degree in Physical Education from Azusa Pacific University in 2018.
