No. 5 Chargers Knock Off Defending State Champion Lasers, 9-0

CYPRESS, CA – The Cypress College men's tennis team dominated Orange Empire Conference rival and defending 3-peat CCCAA State Champion Irvine Valley College at the Cypress College Tennis Center on Thursday afternoon. The Chargers put on an inspiring performance, sweeping the Lasers, 9-0.

The victory moves Cypress into a tie with Riverside City College atop the OEC standings. The Chargers now hold a No. 5 Southern California ITA ranking.
